Pistons in six. Lord knows they only have to win one in Boston and the Celtics are done.
Wittman’s credentials as a losing coach are unimpeachable.

The Celtics should win this series, but Doc may get in their way...

Vendetta11:Well, now that the Celts have moved on to the next round, who is rooting for Flip instead of KG?

I've been saying it all along; the Celtics are a jump shooting team (i.e. soft). If they're all on ...they're deadly. But if one of two of them are off ...they're in a lot of trouble. It all comes down to whether or not they jump shots are falling. I think, and hope, that the Pistons roll over the Celtics. Wallace always seems to do well against KG. Billups (if healthy) should be able to counter Rondo well. Rip will run whoever guards him off screens all night long till the old geezer has to go to the bench and start sucking on the O2 bottle. And Prince will defend the hell out of his guy. Pistons in 5.

The only 5-game series I can foresee is Boston winning it.....and that one is not at all likely.

I only watched bits and pieces of last nights game, but it appeared to be pretty ugly for the Pistons. Was it? I just want them to run over the Celtics ...then back up and do it again.

It was pretty ugly. The Celtics were playing some good defense last night, and Chauncy was completely owned by Rondo, of all people. I expect that to change in Game Two.

If that's C.Billups, post-hamstring injury, Detroit is in real trouble. That said, when there were about 70 ticks left in the game and Detroit had momentum in cutting the lead to 6, one more pass by Ra"weed" Wallace to a wide open Hamilton or Prince could have conceivably made it one-trip game with a minute to go, then who knows what happens........of course we didn't see that pass.......we saw Wallace go "RAINDROPS!" and nearly shatter the side of the backboard with an ill-advised, heavily-contested, three-point attempt. Flip had to have popped an ulcer at the shot..... I did like that they hung around and made it somewhat interesting despite Boston playing very well as a team, while the Pistons regulars played terribly. It shouldn't have been a game, and it was.

Now we will see if the C's have it in them to win on the road this post season. The game just got a bit more interesting boys.

Although I'm not as convinced as I once was, I'm still going to stick with my 4-1 prediction. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the Pistons win 4-2.

I don't like Kobe... but I hate the Celtics more. I'm hoping for a good old fashioned ass-whooping by the Lakers. I want to see KG curled up in the fetal position, crying at center court saying "We're losin', we're losin'....we lost, we lost.", Pierce being consoled by his mommy, and Allen continuing to look like he just doesn't care one way or the other. Go LAKERS!!!!!!!!!

Hey, Sheep!
Well, considering your prediction in the Celts/Pistons series (Detroit 4-2), the Celtics should be just fine.

Screw that. I hate the Lakers. Not only did they steal our entire team away from us, their celebrity driven fan base posing and posturing throughout their games makes me want to puke. I hope KG and Co. smashes the Lakers right in the mouth tonight.
Go CELTICS!!!!!!!!

Not sure who this "sheep" that you refer to is but... yeah, I can't believe the Pistons lost to the Celtics. But you're right, my predictions couldn't be worse so far this post season.
