    Oh, that wacky Spree!

Poor guy is really in financial dire straits. The writer really piles on him - it's funny, but also a little mean.

It's a shame we weren't able to work some sort of Keith Van Horn deal with him so a) he'd get paid and b) we'd get some sort of asset of the deal.

I'd only think it was mean if some unfortunate event had caused he and his familiy to suffer. Spree brought every bit of this on himself. He's still living better than most people. Hopefully at least one NBA player wilol think about his situation next time their agent tells them to hold out for an extra 1 M on az 20 M contract. The greed and stupidity of some people is amazing.

LOL. That's great. He's possibly one of the dumbest people I've ever seen. I still can't believe he turned down that ridiculous contract McHale offered him. Thank God for us that he did though. And the #1 thing the penniless Sprewell should do, is...

    1. Dig up that disrespectful contract offer
You remember -- the one in which the Timberwolves offered you $21 million for three years? The one you turned down, never to play in the NBA again? Yeah, that one. Find it. Find as many copies as you can. Yes, the very contract you found insulting is now important to your survival. You must burn its pages to keep warm during those cold Wisconsin nights.

    Bwahahahahahahaha......

How do you get into this much trouble on $14 million a year.  What a dope...

Wittman’s credentials as a losing coach are unimpeachable.

Well, I feel like a dope for liking him so much during his playing days.

He was always a couple cans short of a six pack.
