    moving the pick?

Hoopshype is reporting that McHale said we could be "sliding around" in the draft. They are "keeping their options open".  Supposedly this week they are checking out both Mayo and Galinari.

All of this makes me nervous we will manage to screw this up and lose out on a really good player. On the other hand if they know for sure the player would be likely to pull a Marbury, Shaq move and leave after his rookie contract then are we really losing something when they wouldn't stay any way? Or is it best to have them here and be able to trade them if they look likely to bolt? But, if they are malcontent doesn't that adversely affect the team? See it's driving me nuts I can't wait till it's over and all the speculation is history.

There's not much doubt in my mind that McHale will find a way to screw this up. I give us about a 20% chance of landing Beasley, Mayo or Rose with the #3 pick.

It seems more likely that we'll trade down for some cash and pick Galinari, who will decide that he doesn't want to play for MN after all, and decides to stay put in whatever European hell-hole he's hanging out in.

I've been very positive about most of the moves the Wolves have made since bolstering their FO and getting McHale the help he's needed all along.

With that being said, I don't think they'll be dumb enough to trade out of the number 3 spot (unless it's to move up). If they trade down, I will be seriously pissed. But again, i don't think that will happen. i think when they are talking about moving, they're talking about those two second rounders.

Only a week till we find out.

As long as Fred Hoiberg is involved, I am sure McHale will have that little angel on his shoulder telling him to do the right thing.... Whatever that is!!!!!!
