They jettison Jack to develop Bayless, get some Frenchie I've never heard of, and appear to have lost James Jones to FA.

I like it, Fernandez makes me uncomfortable as an NBA PG, let him play behind Roy at the 2 or put him in a 3-guard quick line-up with Roy and Blake/Rodriguez/Bayless (Blake's a kick-out threat who can move the ball up the court quick enough with his passing and Rodriguez/Bayless can just push it down the court).  The guards appear set, but I'm disappointed to see Jones go, big contributor and great shooter for us.

Who the *** is Batum, anyone?

I think Bayless and Roy will start a majority next year with Rudy coming off the bench.  Blake may start opening night but by christmas, it should be Bayless.  

Batum is like a french version of Travis Outlaw a few years back...seems redundant. young guy (19) with some supposed heart issues?

Good God that guy needs some work.  Phenomenal talent, NO fundamentals, weird for a Euro.  He needs to slow the *** down, get under control, learn about balance and getting his feet set, list goes on and on.  He's as raw as a freakin'  12 year-old.

Assuming everything comes together, the Trailblazers will be the new dynasty in a couple of years (I am a Wolves fan, but I have to admit the Trailblazers are looking good).
