If Brand is smart, he goes to Cleveland or Orlando . Philadelphia however is the only playoff team with caproom.

and Beasley......
They could easily trade Beasley for whats missing . YOu dont think ? Between the MLE and Beasley ..they have options. Wade , Brand & Marion is one hell of a good start. Could also keep Beasley to back up Brand especially as he works his way back .

Brand in Philly would be interesting! Philly gave Detroit a run for their money! Philly is that blue collar team and that's Brand's style! Brand, Iguodala and Miller is something to think about!

i wonder if Sterling would really screw over the clippers by actually trading for haslem and Blount for Brand when he has a budding star in Thornton when he could offer B diddy money to come to the clips to play alongside Brand and Thornton, but then again it is Sterling we're talking about ..

Word is Davis has verbally agreed to sign with the Clips, which likely brings Brand back to the Clips. Brand might get his shot at a ring with the Clippers! (Just typing that felt wierd)

Word is the Wiz are offering Arenas max salary ($126 million over six years) instead of a mere $100 million. Washington was just as good this year with Arenas out as they were when he played the previous year. I like Arenas, but I don't think he's worth that kind of money. It's questionable whether he's one of the top 5 guys at his position.

So what do you suggest the Wizards do? Let Gilbert walk?

No I'd suggest they sign and trade him. Giving him 126 M is IMO is just plain stupid. No one else can pay him that. Its a kind of Allan Houston situation. Bidding against yourself.

OK, if Arenas can command top salary, then I can play in the pros. Look for me in Vegas this summer!
