    UTAH AND DETROIT TRADE

Here's a trade possibility between the JAZZ and the PISTONS:

UTAH gets: Rip Hamilton and Cheik Samb

DETROIT gets: Ronnie Brewer, Matt Harpring, and Kosta Koufos

Utah's window may be closing, and this trade immediately makes them a TOP 3 team in the West, if they weren't already. Hamilton gives them the legit SG they have been searching for for years, and they can make a strong push for a title this year. They also free up future time for C.J. Miles, who they seem very high on.

Detroit's window has probably already closed, so they will begin to rebuild slowly, probably starting this year. They get two young players to add to their young core of Stuckey, Maxiell, and Amir Johnson, while also allowing the youngsters to learn from the remaining vets on the team.

    PISTONS LINEUP:

PG C. Billups, SG Ronnie Brewer, SF T. Prince, PF R. Wallace, C K. Koufos BENCH: R. Stuckey, J. Maxiell, A. McDyess, A. Johnson, and Kwame Brown

    UTAH LINEUP:

    PG D. Williams, SG R. Hamilton, SF A. Kirilenko, PF C. Boozer, C M. Okur BENCH: P. Millsap, K. Korver, C.J. Miles, C. Samb, B. Knight

    Re: UTAH AND DETROIT TRADE

if detroit wanted to rebuild, trading rip for brewer and throw ins would not be the way to start.  detroit could get a lot  more for rip.

brewer showed signs of stardum but is still  unproven and harpring is just a complimentary player who would best fit on a championship caliber team

where he would just jack up threes.

rip for a future lottery pick would be more like it, but i dont see them trading him anyways

Rip for AK47 might get a deal done but I don't see the pistons jumping at this offer.  A front line of Wallace, AK47 and Prince would be pretty lethal at the defensive end of the floor.

I can only see the Jazz trading AK47 if they get Prince back in the deal. Sloan loves the defensive intensity of Kirilenko, and Prince has the same defensive fire.
