    Barbosa for Battier?

The salaries match ... who would this help more, Houston or Phoenix? I say both teams get the better ends of the deal in trying to fill some of their needs ...

The good thing for Phoenix is they get a player who will give his all with or without touches. The Rockets get a player who can actually create his own shot. I'd say it's worth exploring!

won't it be difficult with Barbosa being BYC ?

I highly doubt the Suns would consider moving Barbosa for Battier.

Battier would fill some of the absence of Marion though

The best senario would be Boris Diaw, and leandro barboso for josh howard, that way you can use alondo tucker and dj strawberry more next year.  Plus you will have a future all star in howard, and he would be able to replace marion.  Plus you got his years draft pick which hopefully is Donte green.  Think of that lineup, nash, howard, stoudemire, green, oneil, and you got hill, bell, and others coming of the bench/
