Anyway, good, if unglamourous, signing by the Lakers. Their stats and measurements are almost identical. Both are 6-9/240 or so, both played 18/19 min. a game last year. Ronnie was a much better shotblocker, Powell's a better rebounder and came at a cheap price.
The Lakers couldn't afford to match GW's offer to have Ronnie be the third string C or PF.
