    Donyell Marshall

Should the Raptors bring him in for additional frontcourt depth?

He likely wouldn't cost too much after being waived by OKC and if nothing else he would bring another shooter and decent rebounder to the team.  While the Raptors aren't exactly in need of another shooter, I am of the opinion that you can never really have too many guys who can put the ball in the hoop.

do the Raps even have enough money to offer ... without risking going over the luxury tax cap?

at the same time ..... the Raps window is now, they might want to add his veteran presence.  He's played with Bosh under Sam during before being traded ... so shouldn't be hard to fit in.

I'm not sure how much space the Raptors have under the luxury tax limit but I would think they still have at least some of the MLE left to spend.  Marshall has already been paid by OKC so I wouldn't think it would take too much to sign him.

Nooooo, as I remember Marshall was not very effective when he left Toronto.  Since them he's gotten less PT and I think he's done.  Bargnani does everything he can do now anyways and I think even better which isn't saying much.

Yeah he fills a real need. Face up 3 point shooting forwards. We don't have nearly enough of those. Confused

I'd rather see the $ spent of an end of the bench banger type like a Brian Skinner . Even if the guys a bit undersized at 6-8 or so some kind of physicl presnece who will hit people and the boards would be far more useful.

Yup, as much as I would still like to add a big man... it would pretty much HAVE to be a physical guy who could play center. Even if that were to happen I think it would have to come along with a Bargs trade because I don't see the point in bringing in another big man when Bargs and Hump are going to have a hard enough time getting decent minutes.

Besides, we're still pretty weak at the back-up guard spots. Rather fill those.

We already have Kris Humphries on the payroll and he's 6'9 and younger.  We've got everything we need right now to fight for a top 4 seed.

Next season we'll have to see what Anthony Parker does and the hole will be at SG.  We're pretty much good everywhere else.

35 year old DM just signed with Philly.

They needed depth because they lost Jason Smith for the year.
