• re: Are the Spurs Over the Hill?

Great stuff Dan. I think the Spurs should see what they can get on the open market for Manu and if they find someone who is younger and more dependable I think they should pull the trigger. This is two postseasons in a row now that he's held them back because of injury. At 32 you have to wonder if this is going to be the case for the rest of his ...

  • re: One Giant Step For Portland

Every draft analyst has that player who really fails to live up to their billing and make them look bad. Greg Oden is that guy for me. I spent more time arguing Oden over Durant than I will with my future wife on what to name our first kid. Watch film of Dwight Howard in high school and compare it to that of Oden's. You won't find much of a ...

  • re: Funny What The Playoffs Do..

It seems like Billups is always having to remind everyone that he's one of the best point guards in the league. He's already got a championship and now he's proving to be unguardable against CP3. I feel like I'm watching Jameer Nelson tear Paul up back when he was a sophomore, Billups is just taking it to him.

  • re: Anything You Can Do...

I've been extremely curious as to why Pierce hasn't taken over this series yet. We know he's capable and he called himself the best player in the world this off season. Time to step it up before your team gets embarassed.

  • re: Fill these Shoes, What's next for the Spurs?

I think Duncan has some very productive years left in him, but they cannot look for him to carry the team as he has done on several different occasions this year. I think in the next year and a half we are going to see the Spurs very active because they're poised to have a lot of cap space when the 2010 frenzy happens and they've got some very ...

  • re: John Wall says he won't declare for 2009 NBA Draft

I check for John Wall recruiting updates nearly hourly. I think the best fit for him is at Duke and that is where I would like to see him play, but Kentucky and North Carolina are going to really make his decision tough.

  • re: Is Andrew Bynum Becoming A Distraction In La La Land?

Bynum sure did come out on fire in Game 2 but then looked awful after that first 8 minute stretch. I'm interested to see how he plays tonight especially now that it's come out that his right knee brace is giving him some trouble.

  • Re: SHAQ!!!

At this point in his career Shaq, in shape, and July simply do not go together. I think every summer since he left the Lakers there has been a report about how great of shape it looks like he's in, or how slimmed down he is. It's Shaq, it's going to take him some time to get into shape, and he'll get hurt in the process and miss a ...

  • Re: Maarty Leunen a Pleasant Surprise
Exactly the fact that hes willing to fight for a summer league teammate really shows passion. I do think that it is a sign that he will be a solid pro.
I think it's more of a sign that he's Joey Dorsey rather than an indicator of pro success. Like I said before, Joey is ...
